About Me

My office and I partipate in i FAStRAC program.

My name is Linda Kay MacDonald and I am a Realtor with Exit Realty in beautiful Beaufort South Carolina. Scott MacDonald, my husband, and I work together. We specialize in Beaufort, Port Royal, Burton, Lady’s Island, Cat Island, St. Helena and Harbor Island.

I gave up a successful career in systems engineering and project management to live a simpler life in the Caribbean. After home schooling our son, I used my skills to create two businesses both of which focused on creating employment via servicing vacation rentals and making a botanical repellent. My education and career focus had been quality engineering. This quality of service focus and ISO qualification experience has benefited guests and homeowners via 5 Star rated vacation rentals.

Here is what others have said about Linda K. MacDonald: “wonderful and gracious resource and a font of information”. Linda MacDonald “is willing to go out of her way to provide information”. “I've never stayed anywhere that went out of their way to provide superior customer service. Since I give superior customer service all day long in my business it is a rare and wonderful experience to receive it back, especially on vacation.” Maryann H. Colorado Springs

Exit Realty in Beaufort South Carolina is community focused demonstrated by their participation in Habitat for Humanity and Home Hero Source. Scott’s many years as a Realtor and Broker in Colorado Springs and sales in Honduras allowed us make our selection of Exit Beaufort on prior expertise.

For me, a day of rest comes from being able to walk the beach and hear the water come ashore. Pure joy is watching the shore birds. It has been a real surprise to see how much green and life the marsh grass provides. Beaufort makes it easy to find the social involvement I cherish as well as the art, music and literature. Scott and I had been so fortunate to have lived in the Western Caribbean after leaving our businesses and careers in Colorado Springs. I feel equally as fortunate to have found Beaufort with its ease of access to metropolitan amenities but life as in a small sea side town.

Hi, Linda! So nice to hear from you! SCAD is an amazing school-- I myself have several friends that attend. I hope your son is enjoying everything that Savannah has to offer. I see you are not too far away in Beaufort. If you find yourself in Savannah area, please let me know!

Hello Linda,
You paint a beautiful picture of Beaufort. I know first hand how nice the area is. My husband was stationed at Parris Island in the mid 90's and my daughter was born in Beaufort. If I was ever going to leave California, that is where I would go. Although, I'm sure there have been some changes. :) I look forward to connecting with you and hope we can work together in the future.
